The recipient receives a form for the purchase of butter at 16.50F/kg normally franked at 0.15F with a Sower (Decree of 05.08.1926). The answer on the same form on the back is franked at the rate of the letter of less than 20g: 0.50C. Such a document is not common!

Oh tempo, oh mores!
Small discussion on the price of the stamp and the price of butter.
In 2020 the price of butter is around 6€/kg which corresponds to around 8.5F/kg in 1933. The price of butter has therefore been halved!

The price of the letter has been multiplied by three!

Letter to the second weight step. Dated 25-7-1937. Cancellation with A4 date stamp.
"Go and return" mail from the Polytechnic School of Law, Notary, Procedure and Insurance for remote follow-up and correction of homework. The student sends the letter containing his assignments with first postage on 23-2-1935. School returns corrected assignments with second grade postage on 23-3-1935 'The extra weight is presumably due to the addition of school explanatory material.
