Spectacular incident
A piece of paper has stuck to the strip after gumming or shaping the reel.
Printing starts from the bottom of the sheet, so the bottom of this piece of paper was printed first, and a crease formed almost where the top glued part was. This piece ended up upside down, flipped, after printing before going under the perforation. Naturally, the strip of paper did not move, which means that the perforation either remained in place, but the piece was upside down, across the perforation, with a fairly substantial bias, which does not would not normally be possible.
Stitching is "always" after printing. The parasitic paper reveals the stamps without printing when it is lifted.
Spectacular incident
Some of the paper has not stuck to the print spool maker fitting. This badly glued part turned over just before the stitching before passing through under the perforating block.
Adjustment of the perforation combs
Sheet dated 28.10.32: galvano A from A+B Edition n°1. Absence of press number (printed every other sheet) in the central margin. This splendid transition sheet was probably used to adjust the alignment of the perforation combs. The bottom two rows have a significant perforation offset.
